Following your election to the grade of Fellow, I write to confirm your standing and to summarize the principal benefits and obligations of the grade. Please retain this letter with your certificate; it is the Society's standard record of the grade for employers, institutions and conference organizers.

Standing. Your election was ratified by the Board of Governors on October 24, 2026, and took effect on November 14, 2026. Your name has been entered in the Register of Fellows as a member of the Class of 2026. Third parties may confirm your credential at quantumcoders.org/verify using your membership number (QCS-K7T2-M9Q4) together with your certificate number (FQC-X8K2-T4MQ). Both numbers are required; neither is sufficient alone.

Benefits. In accordance with Article V of Chapter VII of the Bylaws, the grade confers the following:

• Post-nominal designation. You may style yourself “Elena Vasquez, FQC” on publications, patents, conference programs and professional correspondence.
• Dues. All membership dues are waived for life. No renewal action is required of you in any year.
• Committee and judging eligibility. Fellows are eligible for appointment to the judging panel and to the Fellow Committee, the body that elects each new class.
• Register listing. Your entry in the Register of Fellows carries your year of elevation and is permanent.
• World Finals standing. Reserved seating and access to the closed problem-set briefings at each year's finals, whether or not you are competing or judging.

Obligations. The grade is held for life but is not unconditional: under Article VI it may be revoked for cause by a two-thirds vote of the Board following a hearing. We ask only that you keep your contact details current with the Secretariat and advise us of any change in professional standing that might reflect on the Society.

Practical matters. Your certificate and lapel pin are dispatched by registered mail within six weeks of election. The printed Register of Fellows appears each November; corrections to your listing should reach this office by October 1 to be included in the following edition.
